Alessio was a postgraduate researcher on the WorkOD team from September 2018 until March 2020. His research focused on platform workers in the UK and Italy and, in particular, on policy-making and legislation in respect of platform work. Before joining the team, Alessio wrote a PhD thesis in Social Policy at the University of Edinburgh on the topic of comparative labour market regulations for non-standard workers. He is now a researcher at the Oxford Internet Institute for the project FairWork, where he is investigating platform work in the UK and Germany.
